We are a family of disciples on mission.

Our Gatherings

Worship Gathering
Every Sunday at 10:30am, we gather at 11300 Old San Antonio Rd. to celebrate what God has done for us in the Gospel of Jesus, and what God is doing through us as a body of believers. Everyone is welcome!
We worship through singing, the study of the Bible and preaching, and by taking communion. It’s also in this gathering where we share testimonies of God’s faithfulness, baptize new believers, and pray with and for each other.

Life Groups
A Life Group is a family (people who care about each other) of Jesus followers (disciples) living together on God’s mission. It's a smaller collection of the church - ordinary people growing as disciples while making disciples in every day life. Our desire is that, through Life Groups, people who love Jesus would grow in their love for Him and people who don't love Jesus would begin to love Him.
Our Life Groups meet at various times and places throughout the week. Learn more here.

Our Identity

FAMILY means we, as children of God, seek to provide care and encouragement for one another. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
DISCIPLES means we are Jesus-followers, growing in the good news that we are loved by God, saved by Jesus and empowered by His Spirit. (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
MISSION means that we all have a purpose to make more disciples by pointing others to Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our community is not exclusive, so wherever you may be spiritually, we invite you to join us. If you have doubts, struggles or questions, you will not be alone. We are imperfect people, but thankfully we believe in a perfect God.

Our Beliefs

We hold to seven core beliefs as the foundation of our identity and practice as a local church. Regardless of your beliefs, you are welcome to learn with us.

Leadership

Structure
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church (Colossians 1:18). At each local expression of the Church, He calls specific followers to provide leadership and care for the church body.  These leaders' primary role is to equip the church to be the church (Ephesians 4:11-13), not to attempt to take on and implement the entire ministry of the congregation by themselves.

The Bible describes two primary offices of leadership for the local church. These are Elders (synonymous with the terms overseer, shepherd and pastor) and Deacons (synonymous with the terms servant and minister).

Elders
Elders (also called “pastors” and “overseers” in the Bible) are biblically-qualified men who lead the church. The primary roles of Elders in the local church are governance and the teaching of sound biblical doctrine. Point Community's Elder Team lead together, are equal in authority and accountability, unique in function, and unified in direction and vision.

Partnerships

The local church was not created to operate in isolation. Our heart is to see the good news about Jesus impact our city and the world - we cannot accomplish this alone. We have many friends (individuals and churches) that we are linked with here in the Austin area and globally.  The strongest partnership we have is a church collective called the Association of Hill Country Churches that is committed to reaching every man, woman, and child in Greater Austin with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ.

Other organizations we partner with include:
